What kinds of jobs does KEY Personnel fill?

We fill jobs in every area of our clients' businesses.  We we work with manufacturers and fill production jobs, technical and engineering jobs. We also work with attorneys, accountants, finance and banking firms, doctors, hospitals, insurance agents in addition to manufacturers and fill their clerical, administrative, accounting, marketing, sales and management positions. 

Many of the production, clerical and administrative jobs we fill are temp-to-hire positions where you start as a temporary employee working for KEY assigned to our client.  Some of our technical jobs are also temp-to-hire.  Many of our technical, accounting and management positions are direct hire.  In these positions, you are hired directly by our client.

How quickly will KEY find me a job?

This is the question that everyone wants the answer to and it is the hardest question to answer!  First we must be honest and tell you that there is no guarantee we will find you a job.  Our clients ask us to find the absolutely most qualified person for their open position.  So on every job that comes in, we will review hundreds of candidate applications to find the very few that have the best work history, knowledge, skills and abilities for each particular job.  Hopefully, a job will come in for which you are among the best candidates.

What can I do to improve my chances of find a job through KEY?

Having done a great job on your previous jobs is the most important thing to help you get a great next job.  The candidates that are selected the most often for open jobs have great previous work history for the kind of work they would like to find.  So, for example,  if you are looking for a position as a Team Leader, having had a job like that before that you did well in will be your best help in finding a job like that again.  If you are just starting your career or looking to change your career, then education in the job you want will be the next best thing to having experience in it.

Having a great resume that shows clearly your work experience and education is important.  It is is also CRITICAL that you fill out our online application completely with start and end dates on every job you have had and good descriptions of what you did in your jobs.  When we look for candidates, our computer system searches this information to determine if you are a good candidate for the open job.  So the more information you provide, the better your chances of coming up on these searches.

Having good references can really put you ahead of everyone else on the list.  Most employers believe that past good performance is the surest predictor of future good performance.  Most companies don't give out very much information on a former employee.  So if you have a former direct supervisor or boss that would be willing to write a letter of recommendation for you, absolutely take them up on the offer and then make sure we have that document to show to our clients.

Does it cost me anything to work with KEY?

Nope.  Never.  Our fees are paid by the companies that ask us to find employees for them.
